This project was created by Sérgio Dias, a student in IADE – Creative University, for the course Visual Design. The subject was to create a wayfinding system for the reptilarium in Lisbon Zoo.
 
A crucial point was to deliver a message about taking care of Nature, for that purpose a trademark was created and associated with an event - WILDLIFE RESCUE – “Preservarosrépteis” (preserve the reptiles).
 
As far as the wayfinding system is concerned the  ive was to divide the space in two ecosystems, one dedicated to the desert and other to the rainforest environments.
 
Since the target people are families and above all children, the signs are accompanied with a cartoon lizard to be more suitable for the young ones. 
 
The  ive was to have sensible floor that under pressure emits sounds of each environment, accompanied with the  um directive information about each service in the reptilarium and species.
