Chashka espresso bar is situated in downtown Kyiv. The area is surrounded by shops, boutiques, galleries, business centres, living houses and different bars and restaurants.Total floor space is 125.5 sqm.

The client decided to recreate the vibe of the world-famous New York coffee shops in the Ukrainian capital. The task was to develop a place that was welcoming for a morning cup of coffee, to have a nice lunch in the midday and to party with friends after work.

Floor space is divided into two halls. Kitchen is also situated on the first floor. W/C and administrative premises are situated in the  ment. Each of the two halls calls for a different type of recreation. In the first one people can order a take away cup or sit behind the tall bar tables. The owner’s coffee cup collection, the pride of the shop, is situated on the wall. New additions appear constantly from various owner’s trips and friends’ gifts.

Big and cozy leather sofa, puffs and deep chairs are situated in the second hall. Here people can take their time and stay longer.

 Wall sections are decorated with parquet pine. Various ceramic cup-lamps were designed for the coffee chain.

All the decorations are made of natural materials: wood,  l, brick and ceramics. Both halls were designed with a common colour set in mind. Background colours: light brown tone of the wood, beige and grey fabrics for chairs and a dark brown leather sofa. Saturated red is used very gently to create the trademark style of the coffee house chan.
