Close to the Dora river, in a former industrial area a few steps away from the old Turin city center, the project is located in the old tires ‘CEAT’ factory.

The apartment is defined by wide, luminous spaces which relate each other on both fronts, the one on the main road and the other on the shared garden, visible from the big terrace, which is accessible from the glass walls of the whole living area and main bedroom.

The first sight once entered into the large living room, is pointed at the green terrace, and its twelve olives trees put on black  l cubes. This kind of olive tree grove is partitioned in three zones dedicated respectively to the talks, food and fitness, with a small gym located into a contemporary custom designed greenhouse, with an open air Jacuzzi.

The entrance introduces to a big relationship space, divided in three different areas, with a double opening which connects to the kitchen.

Everything is  d on contrasts: past and present, inside and outside, hard and soft, light and dark, natural and artificial.

The preservation of the existing structure pillars and concrete industrial beams ceiling, represents the building’s memory. Parquet woods chosen for some floors, are cut and placed on a specific design and looks as soft as woven, contrasting with rough resins in a close dialogue between textures, light and colors.

Some  l controlled oxidation walls upholstery, become custom designed furniture, with hard and straight lines.

The access to the bedrooms walks through a varnish red paint corridor, characterized by an irregular ceiling shape, well-lighted by recovered industrial neon banner groups.

Sleeping area is distinguished by warm and dense colors, both in bedrooms and bathrooms.

Vintage furniture and contemporary art and design  s are scattered in the whole apartment, to instill a sense of beauty and surprise.
